Where did those numbers come from? I ask because I farmed over a 1000 acres years ago and usually had 300 or so in corn and I didn't buy much over 1500 gallons of fuel a year. And 347 an acre to grow corn seems about double what my memory tells me. Of course I am a grandpa now so perhaps my memory is no good.

Perhaps Ish could weigh in on this.
