I wish Newsmax would stop referring to the student riots as protests. A protest is a legal right in the United States and is protected by our Constitution. What we have been witnessing on college campuses are not protest. They are riots. They are illegal and not protected by the Bill of Rights in our Constitution.
A protest can turn into an illegal riot and when the line is crossed it should be called out as such. There is a line that can be crossed. By continuing to refer to the riots of the last couple years and recently on our college campuses as protest instead of correctly calling them illegal riots only confuses the issues and encourages the perpetrators of the riots. They believe they have a right to riot because they believe their cause is righteous. They are wrong. A protest is a protest and a riot is a riot, they are not the same thing.
