OK, QK.. surely the case can be made that the business is out there for LSI (and others), but LSI (and VLSI, which I also hold) seems to have a lot of trouble bringing a reasonable percentage of their efforts down to the bottom line. I think Shane once did a little analysis of LSI's "buying" contracts to keep the fabs operating. Perhaps that was necessary when there wasn't enough business to keep the fabs operating at a reasonable percentage of capacity. But now, I guess, the current question is: how soon does the (wonderful new) business start providing an honest living for LSI? --in the form of expanded profit margins -- any thoughts?
