What do you want me to say about the supposed Maritz comment other than I take all of the current rhetoric and hype with some heaping grains of salt...for example the following is from a Reuters story posted in the "How high will Microsoft fly" forum...

the company would not be able to provide support
on questions that arose from an NDS deployment.
However, she disputed the contention of an article in
Infoworld that said Microsoft would refuse technical support
for customers who deploy NDS regardless of whether their issues
related directly to the directory system.
"We will continue to provide support for our customers,"
vanDam said. She said Microsoft was discussing with Novell ways
to address the problem, saying, "We do believe we need to work
closely with Novell on this."

So maybe InfoWorld wanted to fan the flames a bit and get more hits to its site. It looks like the a little context was needed.

On the subject of the 'Boys I am and will always be a die-hard Cowboys fan no matter what happens but this season was disappointing other than Switzer resigning. In a CNNSi article (I believe) Switzer was referred to early in the article as Insignificant Sideline Personel (ISP) and in fact was never referred to by name in the entire article, which I found accurate and somewhat sad.
