NEW YORK, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) today lists the units of BPW Acquisition Corp. under the ticker symbol BPW.U. The offering size is 35,000,000 units at $10.00 per unit for gross proceeds of $350,000,000 (excluding the underwriters' over-allotment option). One unit equals one share of common stock and one warrant. Initially, the units will be the only security trading. Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the lead underwriter on this IPO.
BPW Acquisition Corp. is a newly formed special purpose acquisition company organized for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or other similar business combination with one or more operating businesses. The Company will focus on a business combination or combinations in the financial services or business services industries, but may effect a business combination with a business outside those industries.
