The presentation at the analysts day will feature a discussion on "Knowledge enabled selling" with someone from REGI being a featured speaker. Trilogy has some GIANT relationships. Vantive does have a pre-existing relationship with Calico. Trilogy's website seems to be broadening its positioning beyond just product configuration. If it's just a joint marketing relationship it won't be that big a deal though. I hope it's not a purchase. I think the valuation might be astronomical (and likely dilutive). Vantive should be in a decent position without trying to be a minnow swallowing a whale. They need to capitalize on the myriad opportunities presented by the likely distraction (disintegration?) caused by Tom's ego-enabled purchase of Scopus. TD
