And JFK blockaded Cuba, itself an act of war, to pre-empt the installation of said missiles into Cuba. Just how stupid does he think we are, that he can say thrash like that, and anybody but you would believe it. In addition, every war fought during the cold war, was a battle of preemption. We pre empted communism from gaining the strength to challenge us. Yes, but Adlai Stevenson was able to show the world much firmer evidence that the Soviet Union was arming Cuba that Colin Powell has managed to do with Iraq. Besides, Cuba's 90 miles from our shores! -Z
