Old tires being sold as new. Possibly dangerous abcnews.go.com I had a personal experience of an old tire causing problems, but not an old tire sold as new, it was an old tire on an old used car I bought, it was an old car but with very few miles, and the tread had plenty of depth but on the interstate some tread came off the tire.
