I dunno. We may think we're in an age of 'near total information' but I haven't seen any evidence of that in real life.

I would, for example, like to know if the unemployment rate in Iraq has come down to a stunning 40%, how are people eating and surviving without jobs for 2 years? I would also like to know how many Iraqis are really dead from any cause during this same time.

I would also like to know how many contractors (mercenaries and truck drivers alike) are dead or wounded in Iraq because those tallies should be added to the troop casualties and fatalities numbers since they're part of the war as well. I would also like to know who is pumping the oil from Iraq, where is it going to and who is profiting from it?

I would like to know many things.

If this is near-total information, then it sucks.
