US version of Endemol show due in autumn
HILVERSUM, Netherlands, May 25 (Reuters) - Dutch television production
company Endemol Entertainment NV said on Tuesday a U.S. version of its
European hit show "Soundmix" would be launched this autumn.
The show, with a working title "Your Big Break," will be produced by Dick Clark productions and broadcast weekly in local syndication, Endemol said in a statement.
Walt Disney unit Buena Vista, which is marketing the one hour show, has already sold it to 90 percent of the syndication market.
The U.S. version will be the 15th of the show, for which Endemol will be paid a licence fee for the rights and know-how, plus a share of profits.
