Now, this is a problem.

BOCA RATON, FLA. (AP) There's trouble with the presidential vote in Palm Beach County.

Voters there have been flooding the county's elections office with calls.

They've been saying they are confused over whether they properly used the Palm Beach County punch-card ballot system.

The concerned voters also say they are afraid they might have miscast their votes - because of Palm Beach County's ballot form had a very confusing layout for the presidential race.

Elections officials confirm that some Palm Beach County residents trying to vote for Vice President Al Gore yesterday are now worried they may have mistakenly cast their votes for Reform Party Candidate Pat Buchanan.

The confusion apparently arose from the way Palm Beach County's punch-card style ballot was laid out for the presidential race.

Florida Democratic Party Communications Director Bill Buck says in a statement that when the Palm Beach County ballots are placed in the slide for voting, Al Gore and Joe Lieberman are the second on the ballot - but the thired hole to punch.

Buck advises anyone who believes her or his vote was cast incorrectly to contact attorneys for the Democratic Party.

Boca Raton resident Blake Smith incorrectly punched his ballot and had to ask for a second card.

And another voter, Eileen Klasfeld, said "It was so hard to tell who and what you were voting for. I couldn't figure it out - and I have a Doctorate."
