Hi Joe: Here is some interesting viewpoint:

This excerpt from DBC StockChat (Tom Murphy, DBC News Managing Editor):

Rangu

Q: Before you run off , I have to ask you the time honored question, on the lips of all NASDAQ buffs, "What about Novell?" - any life left
here????????

A: I felt so guilty about skipping Friday's StockChat, that I came back this week! Ah, Novell.... I think of it this way, if it were a private company making a
public offering, what would you think? Assets: huge installed base, deep and long history with corporate network computing, substantial assets in terms of
NetWare, lean and mean and SMART staff, excellent management. Risks: competition from Microsoft and others, shifting market. What would such a stock
get at an IPO? $20? And it's selling at 8 1/4? And yet 10 of the 14 analysts who track Novell rate it a "hold" or "sell." I'm not saying I recommend the
stock--the company clearly has issues--but I don't think Novell gets the respect it deserves. The coming year should be very interesting...
