Likely offer based on NSM offer for Cyrx is 1 IBM for 8 NOVL. Divide the mid range of IBM by the midrange for Novl and you come out with 8. Based on yesterdays IBM price this gives $13/ sh for Novl. That may be what they are discussing. I think $16 - $18 would be much more palatible to Novell holders. The Lotus deal was 2x market price of $30.
