In the Young Folk Portfolio I sold NSC and SYY. Both of these were in the taxable account and both of them had capital gains in excess of 20%.

I have been wanting to bring the number of holdings down so that I could focus on building positions of size as opposed to having dozens of small positions. There are now 23 holdings in this portfolio.

I took the proceeds from these two sales and added to SPY, bringing SPY up to 11.3% of the portfolio value when a full position is just 3.9%.
