unique visitors on an average day. It's encouraging that some 40% of
the resulting orders are for our 'big ticket' items such as telescopes
and high end binoculars. Our promotion of this Web site is paying off
in spades and, as of today, we have 1,058 members of our affiliate
program all pointing traffic to Optical Brigade.
"The real surprise, though, is the traffic and conversion rate at
our Net2Loan site (www.net2loan.net). Open only one week, we have 14
loan applications pending right now, and we're still in the early ramp
up phase of our promotional efforts. In addition to the actual loan
applications, we have over 30 inquiries, many of which might be
converted to loans down the line. The fact that the holiday season is
traditionally a very slow time for home sales means we can expect to
be flying high come spring and summer.
