MSFT is the least common denominator in computing. IF INTC does well MSFT has to. IF DELL does well MSFT has to IF IBM does well MSFT has to IF MU does well MSFT has to etc... Do this test. For example even if INTC didn't exist, MSFT will. But if MSFT doesn't exist tomorrow, INTC won't.
