Chance for what? HC's not ready for prime-time. Give me speakers who can speak, thinkers who can think. On the scale between the village idiot who must be fully scripted and JFK, HC is somewhere in the middle, but without art, as yet. The GOP would dearly love HC to run, they could push buttons to generate more $$ than any other possible candidate. I heard some of JFK's speeches again last night, remembering that he was said to practice oratory for hours, reading Churchill and others. Those speeches contained more than just eloquence, they appealed to the best in our society, and inspired action. His assassination was an assassination of American optimism as well. It was a monstrous crime.
