Next years big movie may be "Twelve Years A Muslim". it is a preposterous fictional story about a black child of a white single mother whom moves to Indonesia where her lover is a government official who not only marries the mother but adopts her son. The Indonesian official raises the boy as his own son. When the marriage winds down the wife and her son return to the US where the son keeps the Indonesian's name, religion and citizenship.. Eventually the lad gets elected President of the United States. As I said this is a preposterous fictional story but makes a good movie. I am still trying to work out the details as to how this muslim Indonesian citizen can get elected President. Everyone I show the script to tells me it is too ridiculous to be taken seriously...
