John - I think they are just further lowering the baseline to appear even more aggressive on price. Savvy shoppers will still add up the cost of the configuration they like, but DELL can offer a "standard configuration" which has no frills and build from there.

I continue to see some pretty amazing prices all around - I suspect the next 6 months will be a fierce price competition.
