Would you please explain this tax? Is it an annual tax on your net worth? If so, what type of net worth is not taxed (housing?)

I think the gov't has this backwards: do they want to grow housing or do they want to grow businesses across many industries (thus the stock market)? I think the gov't should reinstate some portion of the cap gains tax on housing, or apply the same benefit to stock cap gains.

The relationship with Russia could help reduce US's dependency on oil in the Middle East.
