I was in real estate once - years and years ago. One time I showed a home in Springfield, Virginia that was filthy. There was no room for anymore fingerprints to be placed. The lady, and I do mean lady, was from Puerto Rico or there abouts. She walked behind me and we looked at everything. Opening doors and cabinets with our fingertips. The children and maybe the wife were at home. In one bedroom was a huge heart formed mattress and the little girl rolled on it... I believe it was her bed. Once reaching the downstairs we walked into the living room, nearly bare and hardwood floor, and from the next room came a loose iguana just walking toward us. I believe they moved him so we could see the remainder of the house before leaving and I do think the children called him a nice 'pet'.

The lady to whom I showed the home, thanked them also and we walked outside into the bright sunlight. We both felt as though we needed to wash, but she said nothing unpleasant about them and we went on our way.

I don't recall too many clients, but those that were truly different....I do remember.
