”You seem to think this means some kind of a war path. However I find it very unlikely that Chinese parents will commit their one and only offspring to war. More likely they will do their best to send them to US and Europe. This dispersion will reduce much of the adverse effects of the imbalance you are concerned with. In any event government policy that gave rise to this imbalance can easily be corrected with the government policy of one-boy-one-girl in China.”

The current immigration statistic for the USA indicates that 25% of the new immigrants are from Asia. Then we could announce ‘Problem Solved’; except that the major boom hasn’t matured to manhood yet.

If it were only Chinese boys, Europe and the US might be able to absorb them to some extent but this trend of excess boys is throughout Asia and other parts of the world where parents are trying to limit family size to one or two selected children. This trend is continuing in other countries and regions of the world.

I find your idea of simply sending hundreds of millions of men to Europe and the USA to find wives, fundamentally flawed. It may not be war paths that result but it certainly wont be excess women in other countries. They don’t exist.
