JFD,
Exactly! This is not a serious legal debate. It has no harmed consumer (plaintiff). It has no coherent legal goal other than a thinly veiled business strategy of MS competitors/enemies. It does have a biased presiding judge. It has Boise deflecting the the focus from consumer harm to the abstract notion that if the competition is not competing, then it follows that there is consumer harm. And it has a DOJ strategy that leverages Microsoft's weakness in video production and avoids Microsoft's strong written testimony because that is all they have to work with. The DOJ has a mess on their hands just like Congress has Lewinski on their cigars.
What are we fighting for? Is it because the DOJ is becoming irrelevant in a Techno-Global economy?
