Pete Yea, it's pretty obvious the street thinks this next round of pricecuts is going to be good for the tech sector, even the PC makers(espesially the PC makers-g-). I lost money betting against the fact that they could make money in the pricecut(pricewar) enviornment. I'm still wondering what CPQ has for a battleplan. Will these next cuts be "preditory" I guess they are always preditory, but to what extent is hard to guess. They may give up a quarter to kill off a few weaklings. Anyway, what I'm getting to is I get this bad feeling that all of this is going to lead to another "whiteknight" out of the blue bailout for 16Mb pricing. Atleast another price spike. Cause this next pricewar should get alot of buyers into PCs.(espesially when the cool air of fall comes-g-) MU will benifit. The market WILL overreward it! Mark
