re:number of posts-- i rarely visit the rb cmgi thread anymore. the sheer volume of posts is just too much to screen. there was an earlier post here about yahoo threads-- could've been talking about rb.

i think when people have to pay to post-- and i know this sounds elitist as hell-- but when they pay, you're screening out a lot of free loaders and spammers. if rb charged, i'd be willing to bet a nice meal that a lot of the quality posters would still be there but a lot fo the others wouldn't.
