Lindy, that's not just a military tendency. I've seen heaps of the same thing in private corporate life. The best people are nothing like that. They are a pleasure to work for and have working for you. They are out to achieve the corporate aims and are not too worried about getting credit for achievement - so much of what is achieved is not achieved by a single person who can claim credit.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's actually a lot less of it in the military than in corporate life.

Did he supervise the disastrous Waco raid? I suppose I could ask Google, but I'm feeling lazy. I haven't read anything he's said. I'm not very interested yet. I mostly just want to see the competition between Bush and Whoever.

Does the USA military really work as you said, generally? I'm surprised.
