i want to repost this great yet short article that shows how false wordsmithing of our proven usa oil reserves is being used to heap on a mostly ignorant us voting population that we don't have enough oil, and thus it is foolish (flat-earth-like i hear him say) to think we can drill for our independence.

this was originally posted by dennis roth a few days ago, but it is so good and so simple i am sure a six grade math class would comprehend it in the morning and be able to take a test and score close to 100% on the math and the logic of the subject later in the day. the first chart really explains just about anything any voter might need to understand about the term "proven reserves." it makes it clear proven reserves are being renewed and stay relatively constant, even though the usa has pumped and supplied far, far more oil over time than our "proven reserves." we will hear more about this 2% when our president gives his standard speech on the subject tomorrow in cushing, oklahoma. perhaps some here who do not post and do not know this information might read this link and grab the knowledge from it.
