I stand corrected on the Times' general editorial policy. One of my friends had mentioned something about the liberal bias of the piece, so perhaps it was the columnist or person who wrote the piece who has this reputation. The column certainly seemed to exceed the facts in drawing a general accusatory tone. In fact, CTYS sued them for libel concerning the piece, which would mean (if there is any merit to the suit) a factual misstatement somewhere in the article.
