Jay, as far as competition, MRVC seems to be at least one step ahead... Granite will not have a product until next year. Nice partnership...I own CSCO shares too. Alteon, I have not heard of. I'll check it out. Ancor, as far as I can tell, is pushing Gig Fibre, and thus loses the market share of those who wish to upgrade their existing cabling. Perhaps Gig Fibre has more appeal for backbone nets and FDDI upgrades. But the biggest market (Gig Ether) appears squarely in the sights of MRVC. Dan
