Does anybody here use WhatsApp?

About the only things I know about WhatsApp are that it's a text messaging app, and that it was at the top of the most popular apps on the iTunes Store for quite awhile, (it's still currently ranked 4th).

Speculation is that it is a push by Facebook into overseas markets where WhatsApp is heavily used, in order to leverage those users into Facebook itself.

It's certainly an interesting acquisition and asks more questions than it answers.
