My guess is Kyrgyzstan will be first, but the whole region may opt out.

I think it will depend on how cash hungry the specific country is and how much we're willing to pay for the privelege. Or we can do what we did with Poland. A sweet military sale that we can terminate if they're not cooperative.

I find it possible that within a generation, an EU-like block made up of China, Russia, Iran, and every country in between be created.

Possibly, though I don't think China needs it.

...Heard something interesting last night on the Madrid bombing. It wasn't about Iraq. The Spanish recovered video tapes from the bombers residence. The bombing was in retaliation for the Spanish prosecution against Muslims [Andalusia] in 1492.
