Keith, I got to give you a big thumbs up on free source too! Hard for Microsoft to top that one, now you got something that even RMS could use! Netscape has suddenly gotten more developers on board than they'll ever know what to do with, which can be another problem, but never mind. Got to figure out how to make a distribution from time to time, but it's been done by others, with less money and resources.
Funny thing, I was always a little ambivalent about Netscape, I was a holdout on Mosaic until waiting forever for graphics downloads drove me up the wall. I always supported the company on sort of Democrat/Republican grounds, Netscape had some games but they were never the threat to take over the internet that that other company was. Looking at the strong following that Apache has in servers, I was beginning to wonder if maybe the whole NCSA Mosaic crowd hadn't gotten sucked into the Silicon Valley thing, the Mosaic browser might have followed a similar course. Now, we might circle back to that model anyway. It'll be cool if it works, and if you can make a business out of it.
So what's next? Will Sun set Solaris free too? There's plenty of free unix out there already. Will Microsoft set Windows free? Bwahahahahahahaaa!!!! Stallman Lives!!!
