Don't forget that MU will be far more diversified by 1999, although the markets they will be in are going to be highly competitive! I'm still quite nervous over the state of affairs in the PC market looking out 9 months from now. The glut within the retail channel will be mostly absorbed by back to school demand, but new production stimulus will be next to nil. As the year 2000 problem eats up tech budgets in the business world, and with the lack of new killer apps, it's hard to imagine the bullish scenario which is dominating conventional wisdom.
Keep up the reasoned responses on this thread. We need more rational Bulls, not overly emotional cheerleaders who can't differentiate rational debate from attacks on their diminutive egos.
