Yeah, yeah Reggie. As usual,consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds, and no one would every accuse you of having a small mind.

1.) NSCP was always free to those who really wanted it for free. The announcement of giving it away is no big deal, the loss in revenues was already there.

Uh huh. Until IE3 came out, with the big PR push to go with "free forever", Nav was #1 in sales. Then we went back to that crummy original retail Win95 release, which the OEMs won't touch, but it's what the customers want! Funny, nobody wants to touch that little point.

2.) NSCP is still considerably behind MSFT in giving away the source code. . . .

3.) Another advantaged is that MSFT did not have ot open up their code due to superior desing.
