I hope Apple doesn't take its time to get it right. I do NOT like a bunch of engineers fooling around
with the financial side of things.
I will respectively disagree. Maybe Samsung and Paypal will get a pass in the media if something goes wrong but not Apple. Anything that even looks like a stumble on the Apple side of things and Apple will be skewered in the press, which, IMO, will have the potential to kill off any initiative by Apple into this type endeavor. Apple has to do things better than anyone else does right now, especially since they usually are not portrayed in a positive light by the press. As an example, just take a look at issues with kids spending money inside of some apps. Apple saw this problem first and put things in place to make this harder for kids to get access to. This is still a big problem, from things I have read, on the Android side of things. But Apple gets all the blame in the main stream media with no mention of the problem with Android.
