Cleanup first(CNN interview), now comes the Profit+buyback (Bloomberg) When Dr. Schmidts appears on the CCN, he emphasized the Clean house part. It is done. (A quite remarkable job in such a short time) Now whe he is talking about PROFIT and BUYBACK share in the near future (See the Bloomberg story). Sounds like he is taking the same steps when Gerstner came to IMB. Some day down the road he may use his own money to buy NOVL in the open market, like Gerstner did two years ago.
