Wolfgang, thanks for your information. Your "curve fitting" analogy is the very reason that i have opted not to try to limit my trading to a particular stock or index, but rather spend time on refining my screening processes. Although the term "curve fitting" has not been a part of my TA language i have been aware of it (the ugly truth course), i guess i can now use the term and sound a little more sophisticated :-)
