Ed,
Thanks for the article and comments.
Our posted price should go to $24.25/bbl today. I am still putting wells back into production that I shut in over a year ago. It is a slow process, and its hard to find the contractors to do the necessary work. I am gradually getting back on my feet, and am hoping the price will stay up in this range for awhile, as it will speed up the healing process.
I know it has gone up too high, too fast, so I am looking for a correction.
I do believe long term looks very good for us, though. Cold winter or not.... OPEC has learned a huge lesson and it won't be forgotten. I am amazed it took them this long to figure it out.
I will be starting on a new prospect next month with some of my same investors that participated in the last well. We should be producing on a regular basis in the next ten days.
Keep Smilin',
Rod.
