Mark: The following is a list of books that I recommend for opening the door to tea leaf reading:

1. Techical Analysis of Stock Trends (R. Edwards & J. Magee)
2. How Charts Can Help You in the Stock Market (W. Jiler)
3. Granville's New Strategy of Daily Stock Market Timing for Maximum Profit (J. Granville)
4. Investor's Guide to Technical Analysis (C. Hardy)
5. The Momentum Gap Method (L. Miller)
6. How to Buy (J. Mamis)
7. Technical Analysis..... (J. Dine)

For #7, you have to call the Dines Letter (James Dine is the original gold bug) in California to order and pay ANY price they ask for and you will not regret it. #1 is a must reading for serious technicians. #3 leads you to the world of on-balance volume analysis. #5 describes the ways to locate sure-shots by analyzing gap formations.

A word of caution: tea leaf reading is an ART and not a science, I will explain this later if I have time.

Best wishes.

P.S. My "very near term 10-point gainer" is already up 9.75 points in one and a half trading days and the market is not closed yet!
