Ivanhoe stock to begin trading on Nasdaq Reuters, 11.17.03, 10:41 AM ET forbes.com VANCOUVER, British Columbia , Nov 17 (Reuters) - Nasdaq has approved the listing of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd.'s <IVN.TO> shares, which could begin trading on the U.S. exchange on Tuesday, Ivanhoe Chairman Robert Friedland said on Monday. Friedland said in a statement the U.S. debut is expected to increase the visibility and analytical coverage of Ivanhoe's stock, which also trades on exchanges in Toronto and Australia. The Singapore-headquartered miner's key project is a large copper and gold deposit in Mongolia. Ivanhoe's stock rose 71 Canadian cents or 6.5 percent to C$11.55 in Toronto on Monday morning.
