Mr. Mark,
I am curious, but have been lazy. I've been cleaning my computers using the regedit tip you explained, however there is also an entry, "runservices" just below run that also loads items. (I found it when I was trying to figure out why the power dll always loaded twice into memory.) Anyway, I also delete items from there but have never checked out how it is different from run.
