In early December, short interest in Amzn was a third of the float, while half the float gets traded every day. Targets we're setting for a possible top are being met in a single day - first 133 and now 150, both exceeded. (Today $3,539,218,000 was spent trading the stock - more than any other on the Naz.) Next are 183 and 200. Although the stock continues to kill the shorts, I doubt the percentage is falling - it's just too juicy and tempting. If tomorrow goes up at this rate, I don't know if I'll be able to scratch the itch.
