Quick question about KM pricing. You've posted several times that Redchip price estimates are about .50 / media, 2 per platter, for $1.00 Ampex revenue per keepered platter (or .80 - 1.20 range).

Do you, Gus, or anyone else know why this would be a reasonable price for keepering? Seems cheap to me, since the benefit is a 30% or so capacity increase for that disk. Why do the drive manufacturers get to pocket all the cost reductions?
