Exactly right Dick-nice presentation. The rub i that a lot of the smaller to mid size ISP's are analog to the POP from their server thereby obviating the digital advantage. My ISP is adamant about not making the investment until there are modem standards at the 56K level ala V.34 etc. The smaller ISP's will have to be won over if any of the 56's are going to be useful to us poor folks in the sticks.
