duelling modems ought to be a good step up, especially since you've got 50K lines. 128K ISDN people say it is adequate. Two problems might be 1) I believe ISDN is pure digital signal whereas some of the 50K is noise and has to be filtered out. 2) This technology is changing fast, but I heard a while ago that people were having better luck tying to 33K modems together rather than the 56K's.
