They may stop advertising on TV and in print, but they won't stop advertising completely. Many are still receiving the 50-free-hour disks.

As far as the effect on their stock, it's frustratingly difficult to predict. AOL seems to defy the rules. Other companies come out only 1 cent above earnings predictions and get hammered. AOL comes out 5 cents below and only loses 2.

Go figure....
