Some very good observations Dwight - Late September and October are always ugly (IMO) and I will be hedging the portfolio during this period with puts and selling deep in the money calls. Also I am accumulating cash so when stocks get cheap.....I will load up.

It also seems that the market is in the process of trying to find a new group for leadership....perhaps it is time for the oil stocks to run. Drugs, Semi, many of the nifty-fifty are not as strong as they have been in the past six months.

Wow...what if Novell catches the market's eye and becomes a new leader...I do not think so.

EKS

P.S. Dow down over 100....NASDQ down over 20!
(My screen is all RED except for my micro-cap MCOM...ug!)

FLASH -Per CNBC Novell plans to join the JAVA Fund with SUNW and IBM. They did not say what their investment would be.
