Whatta ya mean!?! Bush is protecting us. He said so. Said he put his hand on the bible. And then there was 9/11, a tragedy where highjacked airliners flew around for an hour to two hours over our nation's most populous areas, and there wasn't even a hint of military interference to those flights. But don't worry, Bush said he's protecting us. That's right. Don't worry.

I mean why should we worry, he was protecting us then too.

And, of course, as we all know, Saddam did this, Saddam did that, Saddam's bad, he's moving things around. But, hey, Bush is protecting us. The whole world, especially virtually all of the major powers, are against us, this after Bush said "you're either with us, or against us." But, still, Bush is protecting us. He said so. I heard him at the press conference. At the conference someone asked what about the war creating more terrorism? But, Bush, said he's protecting us, that it's more important he get Saddam so he can protect us more.

I wonder why no one asked him whose going to protect the 42 percent of the Iraqi population that's under age 15. Bush, while protecting us, will kill some of those children. But don't worry, he'll blame it on Saddam. Remember? Saddam did this, he did that, he's moving things around?

What I see from Bush in moments like what the nation saw tonight, is someone who looks like an 8th grade social studies teacher whose most incapable of teaching social studies. Unfortunately, for us, he's our president.
