It sure seems INTC wants to look and act more like an ADI versus a pc-microprocessor company. How flattering!

I remember also during the summer doldrums of '98 we were discussing the likes of Intel, TI, or Lucent making a bid for ADI. Of course, the only one buying shares (besides us <gg>) was ADI itself for a split adjusted $6 and change.

I'm sure one or more of Mssr.s McGinn, Barrett, and Engibous are kicking themselves now for not acting then when ADI's market cap was under two billion.

Six quarters later, they can't buy this juggernaut for less than $30 billion.
