I did some yardwork today, picking up cones and raking pine needles into a pile for the big chipper day tomorrow.

My dog Daisy killed a small rabbit and was carrying it around the yard when I saw her. I took it away. Bad Daisy.

On the brighter side, I mixed some gas for my chainsaw and filled it with gas and bar oil. I did not think the dear old antique would start because I haven't used it since I left Oregon in 1991.

But I got a spark right away and kept pulling on the starter cord. Before you know it she started and as soon as she warmed up she ran at full throttle for several minutes before I shut her down.

Two trees in my front yard had better skedaddle, or I'm going to make a moose statue out of the stump.
